Our client, leader of bulk diesel fuel distribution to transport operators in France, wanted to review his pricing strategy to face increasing competition on price in a non transparent market (no access to competitors’ prices).
eleven developed a smart pricing algorithm to estimate competitors’ prices and increase transparency for his client. A dashboard has been designed and made available for employees to adjust prices in real time depending on competitors’ prices, thus evolving from a cost-based pricing towards a competition-based pricing.
Advanced data vizualisation techniques (ggplot2, dplyr…) and supervised and unsupervised machine learning models have been leveraged by consultants during the project.
